Why create?
Why make this action role playing game? Why it named "Beyond the Ticking"?

At first, I started this project simply to earn academic credit.
However, when deciding on the topic, I realized that throughout my time at school, I had worked on many team projects—but I had never truly developed a game on my own. Most of those projects were also not in the genre I personally love the most.
So, I decided to create something I genuinely enjoy: an action game!
I’ve always been passionate about action games, even though I’m not particularly good at them. In the words of Chinese gamers, I’m the type who is “bad at it but can’t stop playing.”

At that time, I was deeply obsessed with Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Where Winds Meet.
I used to spend one or two hours every day trying to complete “no-hit” challenges—only to fail again and again because I got too excited whenever I got close.
I eventually gave up after realizing that achieving a flawless run (and bragging about it online) was harder than I thought...

Still, since these action games captivated me so much, I began to wonder—why not create an action game that could captivate others in the same way?
Of course, making a full-fledged AAA title is beyond reach for now, but I can make something truly unique and personal.
